Best Kajal Eyeliner Pencils In India- Our Top 10! +Mini Reviews, Prices
Kohls are one of the must-have makeup products for us girls, especially in India! Since ancient times, dark, intense, kohl-rimmed eyes have been a hallmark of beauty in India. And for most of us college-going girls, it can be the only makeup product to invest in.
Ideally, a great kajal should be intensely pigmented, smooth and water-resistant. It should not hurt the eyes and be tested for sensitive eyes. And nowadays, more than ever, the market is beaming with loads of kohls and kajals that it can be overwhelming! To help you decide which one to choose, we have compiled a list of the best kajals in India. To keep the compilation budget-friendly, we have only included drugstore kajals so that you don’t need to worry about spending a bomb on any of these.
1. Plum Natur Studio All-Day-Wear Kohl Kajal
This is a gel-based kohl so it is highly pigmented and very black. It is perfect for those who love their kajals to be jet black. Being gel-based, it is very soft too so it doesn’t tug on the eyelids. It is water-resistant and sets fast so if you need to smudge it, you’ll have to do it fast! Other qualities of this kohl are that it is preservative-free, rich in Vitamin E, vegan, paraben-free, mineral oil-free. It is ophthalmologic and dermatologically approved too so is good for those with sensitive eyes. With so many qualities, it is certainly one of the best kajal eyeliner pencils in India.

2. Lakme Absolute Kohl Ultimate Kajal
This long wearing pencil from Lakme’s Absolute range is one of the best kajals from Lakme. It comes with a smudger on one of its ends to create a soft, smudged look seamlessly. Although the formula takes a few seconds to set which allows you to create a smudged look; once set, it becomes transfer-proof and smudge resistant. High on quality, the texture of this pencil is very smooth and will not tug on the eyelids. Shade-wise, this lakme kajal is again one of the blackest of blacks!

3. Lakme Eyeconic Kajal
There have been many different views on which one of the two, the Lakme Eyeconic Kajal or Maybelline Colossal kajal is better. Both come in the same price range but do have some distinctions. The Lakme Eyeconic Kajal has great pigmentation and is creamy. It is not as jet black as the Maybelline Colossal Kajal but since it lasts longer than the latter, it is my preferred choice. Nevertheless, both of them are a good choice for college-going girls who want to buy good kohls on a budget.

4. Colorbar Just Smoky Eye Pencil
One of the most jet black kohls ever, this very soft pencil from Colorbar also includes a smudger at one of its ends. The texture of this pencil is very soft and goes on very smooth without any tugging at all. The pigmentation is awesome too and you need just one swipe for a jet black look. The kohl is waterproof and waterline safe. The only drawback of this, however, is that it can have a slight tendency to flake.

5. Revlon Colorstay One Stroke Eyeliner
This was one of my favourite kohl eyeliners a few years ago. However, it sometimes stung my eyes and so I moved onto other more waterline-friendly kajals. But now, Revlon seems to now have changed the formula and the newer version does not sting anymore! This is great because the formula is still buttery smooth, dark black, water-resistant and long wearing; making it one of the best kajal eyeliners in India.

6. Himalaya Herbals Kajal
This herbal concoction by Himalaya is free of chemicals so is perfect for those who want to use a chemical-free kajal. The kajal includes Almond Oil which helps nourish the lashes, Triphala which is a well-known ayurvedic tonic and Damask Rose which cools & soothes the eyes. The kajal is quite black but do keep in mind that it can smudge like any other traditional kohl. But if you don’t want to use chemical-ridden kajals, then this is definitely one of the best kajals for eyes and the one you should be checking out!

The Colorbar I-Glide Pencils come in a number of stunning shades. All of the shades are soft and line the eyes without any tugging. The shade blackout is an intense, matte jet black which is soft yet firm, so it won’t break. These pencils are water resistant so there is no chance of any smudging.
