I’ll be reviewing a gorgeous coral nail paint from L’oreal’s Color Riche range today. As you might know, the nail paints from this range are one of my favourites! I had reviewed a pastel blue shade from this range a few weeks ago and this time I’ll be reviewing another summer perfect shade.

All L’oreal Color Riche Nail Paints come in a slim glass bottle with a golden colored top. They come with a flat brush, the edge of which is slightly rounded. Both these features make the brush a little more convenient to use as compared to the regular round brushes with a straight edge. These nail paints come in a tiny bottle and can feel a bit expensive. But on the plus side, having owned a bunch of different shades from this range and in my experience, these are one of those very rare nail paints that do not dry up in the bottle after some time. So even if you reach out for them after a few months, they are very much usable.
The product is of a thinner consistency and spreads quite easily. There is no streaking with this shade and the color goes completely opaque in 1-2 coats. It sets quite fast (about 30-45 seconds) into a glossy finish. This glossy finish remains for around 3 days after which it starts to fade into a matte one. On my nails, the nail paint stays intact for about 4-5 days after which it starts chipping slightly from the tips. The name ‘So Chic Pink’ is a little misleading as the shade is a proper coral shade with no hint of pink in it. It reminds me of Revlon’s Lip Gloss in Papaya! It is quite a summery shade and a very wearable coral color. The only drawback with this shade is that it’s a little prone to yellowing after 3-4 days.
Loreal Color Riche Nail Paints are one of the best quality drugstore nail paints and this shade keeps up with the legacy. It applies evenly without any streaking, sets very fast, has a glossy finish and the shade is a beautiful summery coral color. Must-have for all the coral lovers!
