Olay 7 in 1 Anti-Ageing Night Cream: Review, Price In India
Years ago, at one of the local supermarkets, I remember picking up a light pink moisturiser from the Oil of Olay. Reason? It was pink and it stated it was for oily skin. From then on, Olay and I formed a bond which continued for many years with me trying out many of their lotions and gel moisturisers for oily skin.
So when I decided that it was time for me to start using a night cream, Olay felt like a natural choice. I was already loving my day cream so I decided to pick up its night counterpart too. This cream, as expected from Olay, was again amazing; yet left something else to be desired. And in contrast to its day counterpart, has left me with mixed views. Find out why in the review below.

The Olay 7 in 1 Night Cream comes in a little tub packaging. Inside there is a small, plastic lid to protect the ingredients of the cream from being oxidized. The packaging is compact, spill-proof and ideal for travel.
The white-colored cream inside does not have a very thick consistency but isn’t runny thin either. It has a light, pleasant fragrance. The cream is quite hydrating and nourishing. It moisturizes dry skin patches very well. It takes a couple of minutes to absorb completely which is good if you like to massage your night cream before bedtime. On my oily/combination skin, it leaves some sheen behind and hence, does not qualify as being matte. Additionally, depending upon the amount of product used, oily/combination skin types may experience some oiliness in the morning. However, the skin as a whole, feels completely hydrated, plump and well rested. It also seems to retain the moisture even after you wash your face in the morning.
Its remarkable moisturising capability makes it a good choice for those with dull/normal/combination skin. Oilier skin types might not have any complaint regarding its moisturising ability but may or may not like the associated greasiness in the morning. Personally, even though it might make my (oily/combination/acne-prone) skin oilier the following day, it has never broken me out. However, I haven’t experienced any other significant results like minimising the pores, smoothing texture or balancing color/tone. So if you’re looking for some night cream that does more than just hydrate, there might be better options to look for. If not, this works really well!
The Olay 7 in 1 Night Cream provides great hydration and the skin seems to retain the moisture throughout the following day which is amazing! This makes it a good option for those with slightly dry to normal to combination skin types. For oily skin types, the slight oiliness in the cream might be perceived as being ‘heavy’ on the skin. Definitely worth a try!
