Some Totally Random Facts About Me

– I am obsessed with colors and mostly love wearing bright ones. I feel that a good bright lip brightens even the dullest day.

– When I was a kid, I loved to paint! Sometimes, I feel makeup for me is an extension of that hobby.

– My first experience with makeup was when I was 1 year old. Yup! You read it correctly! I took my mom’s lipstick which was lying on the dresser and put it all over my lips and cheeks (probably trying to get my blush right). And growing up I loved practising putting makeup on my mom while she took her naps. LOL. So no big surprises I grew up adoring it. Eh?

– I almost always skip wearing earrings. I feel they weigh down my ears (Err.. is that weird?)

– If there are 2 places in this world I can spend unlimited time at, one is a cosmetic store and the other one is a book store.

– I am a dreamer. LITERALLY! But more on that some other time..

I hope you enjoy going through this blog! If you have any questions, suggestions or just wanna say hi, drop me an email at komal[at]abeautypalette[dot]com

  1. You are literally my doppelganger in terms of personality I kid you not! I love books and makeup as well – and well , sometimes people are skeptical about that. Stereotypes , I tell you. I love your blog , and now I am wondering how come I didnt discover it earlier? You are really pretty. And I dont wear earrings most of the time as well , I remember to do all my makeup , then if I have any spare time , I remember to put on jewellery. XD Weird eh.

    • Haha! I know I can spend an hour putting on my makeup but get really lazy when it comes to putting on my earrings 😛 Thanks a lot hun 🙂 Keep visiting!!!

  4. Hello Ma’am,

I just saw your blog; as I am looking for some suggestions.
I am gonna get married in March. My skin is very sensitive and dry and from last 2 months I am facing some issues like; hair growth and pimples on face.
I don’t know much about make -up & all.
I tried facial pack of lotus and oxy bleach but it lasts only for three- four days.
    Can you please something ?

    • Hey Sanjogita

      Congrats for your wedding!
I would suggest cleansing your face with a thorough yet non-drying cleanser atleast twice a day. My personal favourite is the Avene Cleanance Gel. Then follow it up with a good blemish fighting lotion like the one here. Make sure you treat your skin to a biweekly face mask. I find homemade masks most effective!
Along with all this, you might want to check your diet for some skin-irritating foods. I personally found minimizing sugar content in my diet hugely benefitted my skin. You may want to find yours. I would also suggest you to consult a doctor, if you haven’t already, for any underlying hormonal issues. Good Luck 🙂
