The product comes in a sharpenable crayon form. The packaging is pretty lightweight and all lip crayons from this range have a color-coded exterior to match their actual shade; which makes it much easier to locate them. Additionally, each of them also has the number of the shade written on the bottom of the crayon.

Texture of the lip crayon is very smooth and goes no without any tugging whatsoever. And the formula is surprisingly quite lightweight. After it has completely dried on the lips, you can hardly feel there’s anything on the lips. It is quite pigmented too and goes opaque in 1-2 swipes itself.

Within 30 seconds of applying the lipstick, the lip color goes completely matte. Personally I’m absolutely in love with the finish! Very pigmented and very matte. Drier lip types may have to prep their lips beforehand but its nothing that a matte lip balm underneath can’t take care of. One remarkable feature of the lip color is that even though it comes under the lipstick category, the texture of this is quite similar to a non-drying, very smooth lip liner. Because of this, you hardly feel the need to pair this product with an additional step of a lip liner.

Coming onto the shade, its a medium rosy-nude shade with neutral undertones suitable for a wide range of complexions. Even though the description sounds pretty boring, the shade is actually one of the most gorgeous neutral shades ever. It is very, I repeat very, similar to MAC Soar; only difference being that MAC Soar leans towards a deep mauve while this one is a tad pinkier. On the lips however, both look quite the same. Longevity wise, it survives 4-5 hours easily on my lips with light snacks and drinks in between. However, post a full meal, you may require a re-application.

Overall Thoughts

One thing I truly love about the BeYu products, atleast the ones that I’ve tried so far, is that they stay true to what they claim. When they claim their eyeliner to be so waterproof that you can go swimming with it, it most certainly is. And incase of these Color Biggie Lip Colors too, the intense matte yet lightweight formula is highly smooth and highly pigmented. The shade MATT 408 is one of most versatile shades, especially for office wear. And I promise it looks so much better in person than the pictures. Highly recommended!
