Who Is It Good For?

Anyone who suffers from moderate to more dark circles and is looking to cover them completely.

Review

The product comes in a small round packaging which includes a mirror inside. The lid shuts tight so there is no chance of it opening accidentally. The packaging is small, light-weight and sturdy which makes it ideal for travel. On the first look, the quantity might seem less for the price but given the tiny amount of product you need at a time, the product lasts quite a while.

The formula of the product inside is thin and slightly dry. Because of that, it can be difficult to blend on dry/flakey skin. So moisturization before application is a must! The SA told me to moisturize the area, leave it to absorb for a couple of minutes, dab the excess with a tissue and then apply the product. And I agree, this way the product spreads and blends like a dream. The thin/dry texture makes sure that it does not cake-up, wear-off or crease during long hours of wear.

Using a concealer alone may sometimes result in an ashy looking under eye area with the dark circles still peaking through. To correct this, it is recommended to use a pink or peach toned corrector underneath which will counteract the darkness, hence the name ‘corrector’. The Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light to Medium Peach has an orangey-peach shade which helps it to perfectly counteract the blueness of the under eye dark circles (orange lies opposite to blue in the color-wheel). The shade matches my skintone perfectly! The corrector provides a good coverage and after using it, I only need very little concealer to get a full coverage for my under-eye area.

Overall Thoughts

The Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light to Medium Peach provides a good base to cover up the dark under eye area. Its thin/dry texture makes sure that the product does not crease, cake-up or wear off for the entire day. Its a must have if you suffer from moderate to more dark circles and want a full coverage. Highly recommended!

  1. The overall result is good. Wish Bobbi brown was easily accessible in India. Can’t think of making a trip to Mumbai or Delhi for this. Hope they open in more cities in India.

  2. pricey one but sounds great,it has surely brighten up your under eye area even though you don’t seem have bad dark circles……loved the review:)xoxo

  3. I’m currently using a CC that does the job of a concealer too. The problem I have with Bobby Brown is their shades are orange – ish, which doesn’t suit my wheatish – yellow skin tone. But other wise I feel their products are awesome.

  4. Great post! Seems like another gem of a product from Bobbi Brown ! But the pricing hurts 🙁 Though I am blessed not to have any major dark circles, but I would be happy if I find a drugstore corrector for correcting redness on my cheeks and sides of nose. Any suggestion? 😀

    • I’ve heard Kryolan also has a corrector. Read good reviews about but haven’t tried it out myself 🙂 Do check out the shade of the corrector though. For redness you might want a green tinted one
