As a beauty enthusiast, I tend to try a lot of beauty (skincare, makeup, haircare) products. Some of them don’t work out for me, some of them I like but don’t find anything special in them and then there are others which become one of my must-haves and I keep re-purchasing them until I find something better. And today, I’ll be sharing some products from the latter category that are currently my absolute favourite skincare products along with my thoughts on why I keep re-purchasing them.

FACEWASHAs someone with an oily and acne-prone skin, this is the most important product in my skincare regimen. So I’m quite picky about what I use to clean my skin with. For years, I’ve loved my Neutrogena Acne Wash because it makes my skin squeaky clean removing even the most waterproof of makeup yet still leaves some radiance behind so my skin does not look flat/dull which most face washes targeted for oily skin tend to do. The only area where it lacks is that it has a tendency to create dryness which becomes all the more evident in fall and winter season. So lately in an attempt to find an even better alternative, I came across the Avene Cleanance Gel and quite frankly, I’m amazed at how wonderfully it manages to clean my skin whilst still maintaining the moisture levels of my skin. I cannot praise it enough! For now, it has replaced my Neutrogena facewash and become my HG facewash 😀 As for my night time cleanser, I love using the Vichy Purette Thermale Cleansing Foam in these fall/winter months. I love how gently it cleans my skin and boosts its radiance. I’ll be posting the detailed reviews of both the Avene cleanance Gel and the Vichy Purette Thermale Cleansing Foam pretty soon so stay tuned.

TONER: I’m too lazy to use one regularly!

Day MoisturizerI’ve been using the Olay Total Effects Cream Normal for quite some time now and I have to say I really love using it! It moisturizes my face very well and leaves a subtle radiant sheen to it. It is surprisingly light-weight for such a thick cream. The only thing that bugs me about this though is that the quantity you get for the price is quite less. But nonetheless, it is an amazing product!

Night MoisturizerI woudn’t call this my HG night cream but I have been using the Olay Total Effects Night Cream for the past few months. Although it does a good job of moisturizing my skin overnight, it can feel a little oily sometimes.

ScrubI love using a DIY lemon and sugar scrub to exfoliate my face. It makes my skin look so clear and baby soft! But if I’m feeling lazy, I’ll just grab the The Body Shop Microdermasion which also gives my face a good exfoliation without ripping it off moisture. The Body Shop Microdermasion will suit a majority of skin-types except the very sensitive ones. You can check out the full review here.

Face MistAnother must have product for me is the Avene Thermal Spring Water. I absolutely love this product! This product has worked numerous times to instantly calm down my skin when it starts to get irritated. The non-sensitive skin types might not benefit from this as much but if you have a sensitive skin prone to redness and irritation, you must try this product out.

Mask: A few weeks ago, I posted the picture below on my Instagram showing you guys my favourite face masks. Not much has changed since then and I’m still loving each and every one of them!

Eye Cream/Gel: I’m loving The Body Shop Elderflower Cooling Eye Gel. It hydrates my under-eye area really well without any sort of stickiness. Read the full review here.

Lip Balm: This one is again from The Body Shop and it is the Cocoa Butter Lip Care Stick. I absolutely love this lip balm and it is one of my HG lip balms! It takes care of my dry lips very well and smells heavenly too! I also love the Burts Bees ones but unfortunately, they aren’t as easy to get my hands on.

Sunscreen: And lastly, no skincare is complete without your favourite sunscreen. For me, currently it is the La Roche Posay Anthelios SPF 50 (not shown in the pictures). It provides a long-lasting protection for my sensitive skin from the harsh sun rays with minimal stickiness.

And that’s it guys! I hope you enjoyed going through this post. What are your skincare favourites? Any recommendations for me? I’d love to read them so leave them below in the comments section.
