Hi Girls
I have a really fun post for you all today! So a few days ago, Garnier sent me a duo of their White Complete Fairness Face Wash and Cream to use for 7 days and review it for you guys as a part of their ongoing #7DayGarnierChallenge. Not only that, they also have something exciting planned for you all. Read on till the end of this post to know more about it. But first, let me review the two products they sent.
Garnier White Complete Fairness Face Wash

Price
Rs 145/-

The facewash comes in a white opaque squeeze tube packaging. The packaging is light-weight and leak-proof. The texture of the facewash is creamy and it is opaque white in color. It doesn’t lather much and smells strongly of lemons mixed with some sort of artificial fragrance. As claimed by Garnier, it really does help supplement the moisturizer to clarify the skin. Instantly, the skin appears a little more clarified and radiant. It isn’t drying on my skin and I haven’t had any breakouts with this. The only catch with this product is that it leaves a mild silicone-like residue on my face. I have sensitive acne-prone skin and the residue part is something I cannot ignore personally. If you can ignore the residue part, it is worth a try in this price range, especially if you are looking for a complete regimen to help supplement the moisturizer.

Garnier White Complete Multi-Action Fairness Cream

Price
Rs 160/-

The cream comes in a small white-colored tub packaging. The cream itself is a soft creamy-textured product which contains an SPF of 19 in it. The addition of SPF explains why the texture of this cream resembles some of my sunscreens. To be frank, when I first tried this moisturizer, I thought it would be too thick for my oily skin and would leave a shiny finish to it. But contrary to my apprehensions, the moment you start to spread it, it gets absorbed almost instantaneously and leaves the skin totally matte and yet, feels quite hydrating. The best part of this cream is the result it gives you once it is completely blended out! Instantly, the skin looks noticeably clarified, smoother and radiant. I’ve never had such instant results with any other moisturizer I’ve tried. I love it! Ofcourse, as with almost every product, it has its shortcomings. It tends to leave a slight whitish cast if you use more product than is required and it contains alcohol as the third ingredient. But nonetheless, it is a really good product and had it not been for Garnier to send it to me, I would have missed out on it, given my aversion to ‘fairness products’.

Nice review! This duo sounds cool. Maybe I’ll give this a try 🙂
great review 🙂
I have used few Garnies products in the past and liked it, will try out the cream from this range when I run out of my present moisturizers
I have used this fairness cream long back when it first launched. I did not like it that time because it used to make my skin super oily and as you told the white cast was too visible. It seems they have changed the texture a lot.
garnier has decent product for the price
nice review
