Inglot Duraline- Review, Price and 5 Ways To Use It

Today I am going to review a product I think every makeup lover should have in their bag. Its a mixing medium by Inglot cosmetics named Duraline. Inglot advertises this product as a special liquid that will transform powder eyeshadows to a liquid formulation. But its use does not end there. Its a very versatile product which can used in a number of ways. So lets get to the review and see how one can use it.

Price: Rs 650/- for 9mL

Review

Inglot Duraline comes in a transparent glass bottle with a black dropper for a lid. The dropper dispenses a little more product than what is needed but over time you learn how to manoeuvre it.

Coming to actual product, it is a paraben-free clear liquid. It looks like water although thicker and feels quite slippery thanks to the silicone content. You just need a little bit at a time and the 9ml bottle should probably last a long time. It dries quickly and once set, makes your makeup waterproof and quite long-lasting.

5 Different Ways To Use Inglot Duraline

As I stated above, it is a very versatile product and can be used in many ways which I will list below:

1.Revive Dried Gel Eyeliners

With duraline in your makeup kit, you’ll never have to throw away your dried up gel eyeliners again. Drying up quickly is the most common problem with gel eyeliners. But a small drop of duraline added to your gel eyeliner just before you use it, turns it back to its original state if not better. Personally I love using this with my AMC Gel Eyeliner for a crisp and neat line.

2. As a Base

Using the tiniest drop of Duraline just before you apply your eyeshadows will intensify their color and also help the eyeshadows to last longer. I have heard it helps prevent creasing of eyeshadows on some people too. Personally, I haven’t had a chance to test it out so I cannot comment on that.

3. Liquify and Intensify the Eyeshadows/ Pigments

It liquifies loose or pressed eyeshadow powders which helps them to stay put for a long time. Same goes for loose pigments. It locks the pigments in place which helps reduce their smudging, smearing and fallouts.

4. Renew Mascara

A few drops of Duraline mixed with your mascara prevents the dried clumpy look some mascaras tend to have. To do this, put 2-3 drops of Inglot Duraline on the mascara wand, put it back into the tube and swirl it around to transform it into a better, less clumpy mascara.

5. Turn any Eyeshadow to Eyeliner

Scrape some eyeshadow and mix a tiny drop of Duraline to turn it into a colored eyeliner. If you don’t want to scrape your eyeshadow, pick some eyeshadow on your brush and wet it with duraline on the back of your hand. Mind you the resulting eyeliner is much more intense and darker than the eyeshadow itself so choose your color accordingly! Check out the pictures below.

Final Thoughts

I feel Inglot Duraline is a gem of a product and a must have for all the makeup lovers. Even if you don’t experiment much with anything else, its utility to revive dried up gel eyeliners is marvellous!
