Hey Guys!
So the month of January is over and I’ve had quite a lot of products I’ve been obsessing over. Some of them I’ve already reviewed here on the blog and some are still in line. If you see any products that haven’t yet been reviewed but you’d like to see a review on, please let me know in the comments below. And I’ll review them on a priority basis. There are quite a number of products so without wasting any more time, let me show you what they are.

JANUARY 2016 FAVOURITES: SKINCARE & HAIRCARE

The Body Shop Strawberry Body Butter: This body butter from The Body Shop has been my go-to body butter this past month. The body butter smells refreshingly of fresh strawberries and is a treat to use after a warm shower. It moisturizes my skin really well yet never leaves it oily.
Kerastase Elixir Ultime (For All Hair Types): This elixir made with a combination of camellia, argan, maize and pracaxi oils is meant to nourish and moisturize normal to dry hair. It can be used as a serum on towel-dried hair and to protect hair just before blow-drying but I most love using this about 10 minutes before hitting the shower. I put about 2 pumps of the product on the length of my hair and it helps protect the ends of my hair from the harsh effects of the shampoo.

Avene Eau Thermal Cleanance Gel: The facewash leaves my skin ultra-clean without over-drying it. I use it in combination with my olay moisturizers and this is the first winter season after so many years that I haven’t suffered from dry, peeling areas on my skin thanks to this product. I’ve already reviewed it, so if you want you can read the full review here.

JANUARY 2016 FAVOURITES: BASE MAKEUP

MAC Face and Body Foundation: This foundation from MAC gives a sheer to medium coverage with a dewy finish. The effect of it is so natural that even I myself cannot point out if I’m wearing any foundation or not! Because of its natural dewy finish, it blends away any open pores and acne scars. It does have a very unique texture and after I talked about it in my last favourites post I’ve finally figured out the best way to apply it. So I’ll have a full review of this foundation up by next week.
Sigma F82 Round Kabuki: I love my beauty blender but sometimes you need a brush to help give your foundation a full, matte coverage. That is where this brush comes in. I was contemplating between this and the F80 and after reading a lot of reviews comparing the both of them, I decided to go for this one. And I’m so glad I did. I love how it so densely packed, yet the bristles are so soft. The rounded edges really help adapt to the natural contours of your face and give your foundation a flawless look.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation: This is hands-down one of the best drugstore foundations I have ever used till now. It gives a semi-matte, medium coverage which looks quite natural for a matte finish foundation. It however needs to be set with powder. Check out its full review and swatches here.
JANUARY 2016 FAVOURITES: BLUSH/HIGHLIGHTER/BRONZER

TheBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer: Although it is named as a bronzer, it works best for me as a contouring powder. Its shade is very neutral and does not have any red undertones to it. It works well to correct your foundation too if it is a slightly lighter shade than you’d like. Read the full review here.
Benefit High Beam: Ever since I got this highlighter from Benefit, I always considered it way too strong for my taste. But lately I tried it using under my foundation and I cannot believe how amazingly well it works. And after putting on foundation over it, you cannot even detect any obvious highlighter on your skin. Just a clean, healthy glow. I’m totally hooked on it now!
NYX Cream Blush in Natural: I have a ton of blushes but somehow this is the only blush I’ve turned to in this season. And it makes sense. It makes my skin look so glowy and its one of the most natural-looking blushes that I own. For a full review and swatches, read here.
JANUARY 2016 FAVOURITES: LIP PRODUCTS

Maybelline Lip Gradation in Mauve1: This is a dark mauvey- browny shade which is perfect for the winters. Maybelline launched this range only recently and they are the Indian version of the much popular lip blur range. This crayon has a very ‘slippery’ formula but sets to a mate finish in about a minute.

Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Liner in Brick Rose: You may recall me ranting about this lipliner in my last haul post. This product has completely changed my lip game and I’m completely obsessed with it for now. The shade is one of the most versatile shades you can ever have for a lip liner and it goes with quite a number of my lipsticks.

MAC Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy: This is my favourite nude lipstick at the moment. While the maybelline one I talked about is quite dark, this on the other hand is a very balanced nude shade that does not wash me out. Here is a picture of me wearing it.
So that’s it guys. These were my last month’s favourite products. Do you have any last month favourites that you’ve been obsessing over? Share in the comments below.
