I’ll be reviewing on one of my favourite summer makeup items today. It is the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in the shade Unapologetic. If you know me at all, you’ll know how much I love my matte lip colors for the summers. They are extremely comfortable and long-lasting in the scorching heat outside. And this one is one of my most loved lipsticks amongst them all. Read on to know why its my favourite and why you should give it a try too, if you haven’t already!
Vibrant colors infused with a Triple Butter Complex give you a bold, beautiful lip. It’s a burst of matte color with a balm-like feel. Go bold and get moisturized in 10 craveable, collectible shades.

-Retractable chubby crayon, no sharpener required
Rs 800 (~13 USD)
The lip color comes in a thick chubby crayon-like packaging. As with all other shades in this range, it is color-coded outside to match the actual lip shade. The crayon is retractable which makes it very convenient to use. It has a light minty fragrance which is hardly detectable during application and whatever little is, wears off pretty soon.
The texture of this lip color is very soft, mousse-like light and goes on very smooth. It never tugs on the lips and feels very comfortable to wear. It is very highly pigmented, going opaque in just a single swipe and spreads quite evenly on the lips. It isn’t very forgiving on dead skin or very dry lips, but then no matte lip colors are! So for girls with either of the two, I’d suggest moisturizing and scrubbing the lips well beforehand. And now on to the best part, the shade. Its a very bright, warm reddish pink which has a slight neon touch to it. This shade has the ability to light up your entire face and make you look polished even if this is the only makeup you are wearing! On my lips, this lippie stays for about 6-7 hours with food and drinks in between, which is so amazing because I never have to worry about touch-ups. The shade does not bleed but does have a tendency to transfer slightly on to your drinks. Even after wearing off, it leaves a light pink tint on the lips. To get rid off it completely at the end of the day, you do need a makeup remover.
The lip shades from this range are one of the best matte formulas I’ve tried so far and this one is no different. Lightweight, smooth, highly pigmented and very long wearing are some of its qualities and these are still not the best part. The shade is a stunning bright warm reddish pink, perfect for the summers! It is expensive but worth it in my opinion. If you love mattes and brights, do give this a try. You won’t regret. Highly recommended!
