Hey Guys
I’m sharing my September Favourites with you all today. Its a little late to be talking about September Favourites since we’re already into October 😛 But I’ve been loving a lot of products lately which I wanted to share with you guys, so if you’d like to know more about them then keep on reading.
1. My Fitness Pal
Starting out with a fitness favourite, I’ve been loving this app lately! I’m sure most of you must already be aware of this app but just incase you aren’t, this is an app to track your daily calorie and exercise intake. Of course it has a lot more features but these are the ones I mostly use it for. It has been helping me so much to track where I’ve been going wrong with my meals and helping me lose unwanted kilos. I’ve tried this app a numerous times before but never been much impressed by it. Nothing wrong with the app though, I was not using it correctly. So I’d like to give any of you who wants to try the app one tip. Even if you find yourself wandering away from your daily calorie goal, still go ahead and add every bit of your meals into the app. Sometimes we have this tendency to not write everything down so as to avoid feeling guilty later but that is what actually hampers our weightloss goals. Do try it!
2. La-Roche Posay Effaclar Duo
This is my new HG moisturizer. I just love how it makes my skin so much smoother and clearer. I used to suffer from one or two breakouts every now & then but ever since I’ve started using this, I haven’t experienced any. Its a must try for everyone with an oily-combination acne-prone skin. I’ve done a complete review on this earlier which you can read here.
3. Freedom Eyebrow Pomade- Ash Brown
This Freedom Eyebrow Pomade is the perfect product if you want well-defined eyebrows. It lasts a long time, does not smear during the day, is highly pigmented and the shade will suit most Indian skintones. I was a little skeptic of the shade at first since it has more of an ashy undertone but it blends in naturally with my eyebrows and works out quite well. Certainly a must have for me these days!

4. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural- Give Me Sun
This bronzer is everything you would want in a bronzer. It is a beautiful warm, peachy shade with no hint of orange whatsoever! It blends in beautifully and will look stunning on all light to medium complexions with warm undertones. It has extremely tiny bits of shimmer in it when you look closely at the product, but on the face it transcends into nothing more than a healthy looking sheen. Absolutely loving it.
5. Essence Lash Princess Mascara
This is an amazing voluming mascara that creates a bit of length too and comes with an great wand. The unique S-shaped wand separates my eyelashes wonderfully while still creating a lot of volume. It also gives my straight eyelashes a curl and for the first time with this mascara, I don’t feel the need to use my eyelash curler. And did I say it is jet black and water-resistant?! Obsessed!!!

6. Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel
Sometimes when I go overboard with a lot of powder to set my concealer and eyeshadow base, some of it transfers to my eyebrows and they start looking like I just walked out of a flour mill 😛 This happens more than you’d think. And it is in times like these that this wonder product comes to my rescue. I love that it tints and sets the eyebrows simultaneously, so when I’m in a rush, this has been my go-to eyebrow product lately. Read its full review here.
7. Stila Convertible Dual Lip & Cheek Cream
This dual blush + lip cream from Stila is pure love! The shade complements my warm skintone very well and is absolutely beautiful! I love how it manages to stay on long even on my oily skin. Will be checking out more shades from this range.

8. MAC Prep + Prime Loose Powder
This is a very finely milled powder from MAC. I loving using it to ‘bake’ my under eye concealer. This is the first loose powder I’ve tried for baking my under eye concealer so I cannot compare it with other powders. However, on its own I love how it sets my concealer so well. My concealer does not move at all during the day. I also use a tiny bit of it for my face and it makes my pores disappear!
9. NYX Matte Lipstick- Whipped Caviar
This has been such a pleasant surprise for me. After trying the NYX round lipsticks which by the way are great for the price but too slippery for my taste, I didn’t have much expectation from this range of formula too in terms of comfort. But a lovely reader once recommended that I give these a try and I’m so glad I did. The formula is very comparable to MAC’s Matte and Satin Lipsticks. Very pigmented, satiny-matte finish and very comfortable to wear. I just wish NYX launches more shades from this range in India soon.

10. NYX Slim Lip Liners- Mauve, Natural
If you’ve following me for a while, you know I’ve taken a shine to lip liners lately. So when NYX launched these in India, I had to try some of these. And I’m so happy to say that every bit of hype about these lip liners is true! They have great pigmentation and glide on the lips wonderfully without highlighting any dry patches on my lips but aren’t waxy either. The shade Mauve is said to be a close dupe of MAC’s Whirl Lip Pencil. In my opinion, the shades aren’t exactly the same; Whirl is much deeper and cooler-toned than Mauve. Honestly, I find that Mauve complements my skintone more than Whirl just because it is a tad lighter and more neutral.

And that’s it guys! These were my September favourites. Are there any products that you’ve been loving lately? Share in the comments below. Also let me know if you’d like to see a review on any of them soon.
Nice picks. I love La-Roche Posay Effaclar Duo, it’s the perfect product for my acne prone skin.
NYX lipliners look sooooo good 🙂 🙂
Loved your list … nyx liners are one of my favourite.
