Online Shopping Experience With Forever 21 India Website: In-Depth Review

As you probably already know, I recently had a chance to shop on the Forever21.com website and I thought I’ll let you guys know how my experience went.

Layout

The Forever 21 India website has a really clean layout and is quite easy to navigate through. There are different sections for men, women, sale items etc and then each section sub-divided into clothes, accessories etc. I really like their lookbook section where you can see how certain clothes and accessories look on models and then purchase them if you like. Filters are added everywhere so you can customise the item search according to your choice. Other than clothes and jewellery, you can also shop for shoes and certain other beauty accessories.

There is a separate section for sale items where you can quickly check out the products on sale.

For the jewellery section, I really like the fact that quite a few useful details like the product’s exact measurements and weight are also given so you know what to expect and there are no unexpected surprises!

Payment Options, Shipping and Customer Support

Payment Options: I was shopping on the website for the first time so I went for the cash on delivery method. Cash on Delivery is available for orders below Rs 5000 and there are no extra charges levied if your order is above Rs 2500. If it is below Rs 2500 some charges maybe applicable. Other than Cash on Delivery, credit cards are acceptable too. You can read about which cards are acceptable in the FAQs section on the website.

Shipping: Above Rs 2500 the shipping is free of charge. Shipping charges are applicable if the order is below 2500. The exact charges depend on the State you get it delivered to.

Customer Support: I didn’t really need any assistance for my order so I never got to try their customer support but they do offer a toll-free number for seven days a week.

Packaging and Delivery

I placed my order on an evening and received an email the very next day stating “my package was dispatched”. The website states that it might take about 5-10 business days for delivery but my package reached me within 3 days. Quite impressive! All my accessories were separately packed in zip lock bags covered over by a a thin sheet. I believe the packaging could have been better considering there were quite a few breakable accessories but since nothing got damaged so, so far so good!

When I Like About The Website

1. Forever 21 is finally accessible to all the states in India

2. Clean and easy to navigate website

3. Cash on delivery option available

4. Fast shipping

5. Nice collection of clothes and accessories

What Could Be Improved

1. Free shipping is only available above Rs 2500 which is quite a lot.

2. There is a need for better packaging; preferably with some more bubble wraps added to protect the accessories.

Forever 21 India Website- Overall Thoughts

Overall I had a really nice experience shopping on their website and I’m already looking forward to my next one! The jewellery was exactly as described on the website. It was decently packed and the shipping was pretty quick! I haven’t tried their clothes or shoes section till now but if you’re looking to shop for jewellery on their website, I’ll recommend it!
