Review
The Body Shop Tea Tree Mask is a green-colored, wet mask that you can straight away apply to your face so there is no need to add any liquid. As is expected, it has a typical fragrance of tea tree oil. It spreads on the skin pretty easily. The moment you spread this mask onto your face, you feel a tingling sensation which is probably because of menthol in it, especially if your skin is already irritated. The tingling sensation goes away within the first 1-2 minutes. The mask itself takes about 15-20 minutes to dry, depending upon how thick a layer you’ve applied. It washes off easily without leaving any residue behind whatsoever.
The mask leaves the skin very soft, clean, calm and glowing. Being a tea tree product, one would expect it to be a little drying on the skin but I personally haven’t faced that issue. If anything, this is the least drying face mask I own. Since you need a little amount at a time, the tub lasts for many months. I can’t say that it has an immense effect on treating the already existing acne but I have many other products that can handle that, the Tea Tree Oil from the same range being one of them. The reason why this is a regular in my skincare regimen is because of its soothing property for my sensitive skin. As you guys know, I have a sensitive skin that especially gets irritated after treatments like scrubbing, threading, bleaching, being out in the sun and even long hours of wearing makeup. Whenever I face these issues, I like to apply a thin layer of this mask and in a few minutes, all the redness and bumps are gone and I’m left with a clean, smooth skin.

Overall Thoughts
The Body Shop Tea Tree Mask is a wonderfully soothing mask for sensitive, acne-prone skin. Much true to its claims, it leaves the skin quite clear, soft, calm and radiant. It doesn’t have a very significant effect on treating acne but it does a good job of calming irritated, acne-prone skin. Even though it is a tea tree mask, it doesn’t dry out the skin as much as other masks for oily, acne-prone skin. If your normal/oily skin faces issues like irritation and sensitivity, do give this product a try. Recommended!
