Review
The product comes in an opaque orange-colored tube form with a flip open cap. The cap dispenses a controlled amount of the product and the packaging in general has no issues either. It is small and convenient for travel.

The scrub itself is a thick white cream intensely filled with very tiny scrubbing granules. Don’t let the tiny size of the granules mislead you into thinking that they have a mild scrubbing action. The concentration of these granules is very high which gets rid of all the dead skin cells on your face. I can best describe these scrubbing granules as feeling like sand particles. That’s how small they are.

Coming onto the result, the scrub provides a great scrubbing action without drying the skin at all. It gets rid of all the dry, flaky skin and leaves it super smooth and soft. I love my Vichy scrub but in this weather, it tends to leave certain areas of my face drier than I’d like. Whereas this product provides a similar scrubbing action without stripping my skin of its natural hydration. It rinses clean and does not leave any residue behind. The Body Shop states that it is not meant for sensitive skin. This can probably be because the scrub provides an immense scrubbing action which can irritate sensitive skin. On me personally, it does not irritate my sensitive skin but if you have a very thin/sensitive skintype, you might want to stay clear of this scrub. If you have sensitive skin and do want to try this product, I would suggest you to completely wet your face before you start using it on your face. The drier your skin, the more irritated its going to get. I’m not sure how much of a microdermabrasion effect it can provide and you might want to consult a professional for that. That being said, this is an amazing scrub that will get rid of all the dry, flaky skin you have.

Overall Thoughts
The Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion has a high concentration of very tiny scrubbing granules that provide a great scrubbing action and get rid of any dry, flaky skin that you might have. The scrub rinses clean and does not leave the skin dry so it is ideal for all skin types. Except if you have a thin/sensitive skin, in which case you might prefer to get a milder scrub. Recommended!

I’ve never tried body shops vitamin c range……..this product sounds great…..thanks for the review 🙂
i have pretty sensitive skin that gets irritated easily. I guess i’ll skip this. 🙂
I would love to try it. My current obsession is skincare
i have repurchased this stuff so many times…definitely one of the great product from the body shop!
If there are lot of chemicals and granules soft and sensitive skin people should avoid it. Otherwise Vitamin C is good for producing collagen in your skin.
Always wanted to try this but never got around to it. The microderma scrub sounds very nice.
This scrub sounds so much better than other scrubs! 🙂

Same to you 🙂
Hi Komal! Great that it has scored above 4 but pricey for a scrub 😐
I have not used any skincare product from TBS.. Please suggest me something which you think is a must have! I have combination skin prone to dullness 🙂
Hey Anurima! For dullness, have you tried the DIY lemon sugar scrub? All these scrubs are amazing but nothing beats that one 😀 You can check it out on Kandee Johnson’s youtube channel. Also I’ve been using the Vichy Purete Thermale foaming cleanser (I use it every winter season) and I find that it never lets my skin feel dull, especially in the harsh winters! I also love TBS’s Tea Tree mask in that it leaves my skin calm, smooth and radiant. Althoough it can get a tad bit drying on the already dry patches in this season.
Looks like I have to try this out. Thanks for the review 🙂
I have read so many great reviews about this scrub. Can’t wait to try it out.
I was confused between this scrub and the tea tree scrub but finally went for the tea tree one so I think the next time I will try this as it sounds amazing 🙂
Such a nice review.
