Review

The product comes in a plastic bottle with a white-colored pump attached to it. There is a transparent cap over the pump to prevent the cleanser from leaking. The packaging is quite well thought of except that travelling with this product might sometimes cause some of it to leak from the point the pump attaches to the bottle. Other than that, the product is light-weight and fairly sturdy. This used to come in a pink bottle but Vichy seems to have changed the packaging recently and now it comes in a green-colored bottle.

The cleanser looks like plain water inside the bottle until you shake it and press the pump, when a foam is dispensed. For my full face and neck, I use about 2 pumps of the foam. It is scented and the scent is fairly pleasant. I personally have no issue with it but people with sensitive noses may not enjoy it as much. After you dispense the foam and spread it on your face and neck, massage a little (about 10 seconds) and then rinse with water. The cleanser rinses absolutely clean leaving no residue behind. It leaves the skin looking smooth, radiant and clean. Infact, if I had to describe this product in just a few words, I’d say this is my go-to product when I want my skin to look extra radiant! In winters, some areas of my face tend to get drier than the others and I find that because of its non-drying property, this is the only cleanser that I do not mind using in those times.

It is a pretty mild cleanser and works best when you don’t have much makeup to remove and just want to prep your skin and lightly remove any dirt/oil. For heavier work like removing makeup, I tend to rely more on my other heavy-duty facewashes. It is best suited for normal to combination skintype prone to dullness, especially in the winter season. It does not have much oil-controlling property so this might not be the ideal product for oily skin types in the summer. Also, because of the addition of fragrance in it, it may/may not suit very sensitive skintypes.

Overall Thoughts

This is a great facewash for normal to combination skin types who are prone to dullness. It is quite mild yet cleans the skin effectively without drying. I personally love this product for the radiance it provides to the skin!

  1. Well reviewed like always !! I have used a foaming facewash from Sebamed which has similar kind of formulation!! I have not tried any product from Vichy but heard lot of rave about them! Now I know which product to start with 🙂 <3

  2. I have oily skin which like you said needs a heavy duty product. But the days are colder and my skin tries to behave. The Vichy product is apt for this season.
